What is Inductance?
Inductance is the property of an electrical circuit where a change in electric current induces an opposing electromotive force (EMF) through the magnetic field surrounding it.
Formula
\[ L = \frac{\Phi}{I} \]
- \(L\) — inductance (in henries, \(H\))
- \(\Phi\) — magnetic flux (in webers, \(Wb\))
- \(I\) — current (in amperes, \(A\))
